Moving Workstations

Expert IT Services team can pack each user's personal equipment in separate containers or individual cloth bags.  This will ensure that users will have their familiar setup with their own equipment when they arrive at the new premises..  We can also move workstations that are assigned "Hot-Desk" (or Non-reservation-based Hoteling).

Small docking stations can be mounted in brackets on monitor poles to free up desk space.

Tidy cable management can be achieved by using cable management sleeves or Velcro strips if required.

Moving IT Equipment in Crates

Various size crates for the moving and storage of IT Equipment can be arranged.  The most popular crates include: -

1. Lidded Computer Crate: This is suitable for larger monitors plus any computer accessories such as keyboards.  They typically have an internal volume of 171 Litres with the Internal dimensions of 54 cm x 43 cm with a depth of 58 cm.

2. Lidded Security Crate:  This is a smaller crate and one of  the most popular and can house smaller monitors plus limited IT accessories.  The internal volume is approximately 80 litres and have internal dimensions of 59 cm x 37 cm with a depth of 34cm

3.Bubble Wrap:  This is available in large rolls that can be cut to size or individual computer bubble bags which are typically used to protect the monitors during transport and storage.

4. Custom-made Wood Crates: Highly sensitive equipment can be transported and stored in hand-made wood and cardboard crates that are constructed to ensure the highest level of protection.  Bubble wrap is incorporated to absorb shocks.
